Ohaneze Laud Anambra State Plans to Set up Rapid Response Security Vigilante Urges the other Igbo States to do the same
The spokesman of Ohanaeze Ndigbo worldwide Chuks Ibegbu has
congratulated the Anambra state government for its decision to set up a Forest Guard as Enugu state did and called on other Igbo States to follow suit in view of the inability of the killer herdsmen to stop
their killing spree in Igbo land. Ibegbu rued over the killing of a
community leader in Oguta , Imo state and called on security agents to fish out the killer herdsmen that committed the atrocity,
Ibegbu asked President Buhari to declare killer herdsmen terrorists
and treat them as such wondering why Fulani herdsmen are still allowed to carry AK 47 Rifle when other Nigerians are not allowed to carry guns.
Ibegbu stated that the apex Igbo body mourns the death of the CEO of Tonimass Oil and gas coy at Aba, Chief Enukeme, The owner of Agura hotel Abuja, HRH Eze M O Kanu, the owner of Sosoliso Airline, Chef Ikwueme, Chief Willy Anumudu of Global Motors,noting that these great men contributed immensely to the economic development of Igbo land employing thousands of Igbo and Nigerians youths. Their loss is a great tragedy for Ndigbo Ibegbu noted calling on the dependents to ensure their dreams and business seeds do not die.
In another development the World Igbo Peoples Assembly, WIPAS has suggested that the name of the proposed South East Security outfit be SOUTH EAST RAPID RESPONSE VIGILANTE OR VANGUARD, SERREV . This is a better and easier name, Ezinne Colbert the Director of Media and publicity of the group stated.
She asked for an urgent action on the body in view of the growing
rampage of killer herdsmen in Igbo land
