Two Igbo Groups Form Strategic Cooperation Alliance to Advance Igbo Language and Culture

Igbo Diaspora Heritage Festival Forms Strategic Cooperation Alliance with Igbo Network Tv
One small step for Igbo Language and Culture, one giant leap for Ndigbo. Finally Ndigbo are coming together to address the issues concerning the declining usage of Igbo Language and associated Igbo Cultural Heritage. Igbo Diaspora Cultural Heritage Festival Committee of Atlanta Ga has formed a Strategic Cooperation Alliance with the Gainsville, Florida based Igbo Network TV for the purpose of channeling their combined efforts, programs and resources for the advancement and propagation of Igbo Language and Culture to younger Igbo generation across the world.
 
About Igbo Diaspora Cultural Heritage Festival
Igbo Diaspora Cultural Heritage Festival was established in 2017 as an Annual Cultural Heritage Event for all Igbos living in and outside Igboland. The purpose is to come together and celebrate our beautiful Igbo Language and Cultural Heritage and to find ways and means of passing Igbo Language and culture to teeming millions of young Igbos  born both at home as well as in the Igbo Diaspora. The maiden edition of the Igbo Diaspora Cultural Heritage Festival took place in Maryland in 2017 through an alliance between Igbo Diaspora Cultural Heritage Committee and  Nwanedinamba USA.
This year in 2018, the 2nd Igbo Diaspora Cultural Heritage Festival is currently being organized through an Alliance between  Igbo Diaspora Cultural Heritage Festival Committee, and Umuada Di Igbo Mma of Los Angeles California. The festival will take place in Los Angeles from August 17-August 18, at two locations, Holliday Inn Express and Proud Bird Conference Center in Los Angeles California. Speaking about this partnership founder Chief Okechukwu Oranika (Odezuligbo 1) said, “This new development is one more indication that Ndigbo are very serious about the survival of Igbo language and Culture”.
