Trump Charges Voting Fraud, Vows to Investigate Last US Election

The US President Donald Trump says there was massive fraud in the last US Presidential Elections held two months ago. The president said 3-5 million illegal votes were cast in the recent election. This effort is geared to show that he lost the popular vote to Hillary Clinton because of the alleged massive voter fraud. Hillary Clinton won the popular vote by 3 million votes. Trump continues to worry about growing perceptions by many people that he is an illegitimate president.

Recently a civil rights leader and member of the US Congress said that he does not recognize Donald Trump as a legitimate president of the US. He charges that Russia interfered in the last election by hacking into the election systems aimed at helping to elect Donald Trump and to punish Hillary Clinton. A Congressional investigation will be conducted to look into that allegations.

John Lewis who matched alongside with Martin Luther King Jr. during the Civil Rights demonstration in the sixties is seen as an icon and well respected African American leader. He and over 70 other members of the US Congress boycotted the inauguration ceremony of Donald Trump help Jan 20, 2017.

There is no evidence that massive 3-5 million illegal votes were cast in the last US election.
