Nigeria to sell some Properties to finance current 2021 Budget

News report from Nigeria indicates that The Nigerian government has identified about 38 properties for sale as a means of financing the 2021 National Budget.

Eight of these identified projects are within the Industries and Communication Departments while the Development Institutions and Department of Natural Resources have six projects. Nine projects are within the Department of Energy and six projects are within the Department of Natural Resources.

According to our source “The projects are expected to be concessioned or sold between January 2021 and November 2022”.

Among the properties already named for sale includes “Abuja Environmental Protection Board (AEPB), the Abuja International Conference Centre (ICC). Unconfirmed reports say that refineries were also among the properties targeted for sale. Also the “Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), Abuja Water Board, and Nigerian Film Corporation” was among the properties targeted for sale”.
