Explosive Interview: The Reverend Dr. Ekeke speaks about Nigeria and the urgency to restore Biafra nation as 2019 wraps up
The staff writer at Leadership Wisdom Institute sat down with our president and CEO – Reverend Dr. C. K. Ekeke to chat with him as 2019 winds down.
Sir, we know that your schedule is very tight especially during this time of the year but we at LWI are very privileged to talk with you about Nigeria and the urgency to restore Biafra Republic as 2019 wraps up in a couple of days.
Thank you for having me. 2019 has been tough, challenging as well as great for my family. I give thanks and praise to God Almighty for life, good health, friends and family. His grace and mercies are new every morning; great is His faithfulness. I look forward to 2020, a year we Biafrans must be energized and intensify efforts to free our people and land from Fulani Caliphate.
Let us talk about the quest for Biafra restoration and your involvement?
Well, before I answer your question, I want to use this opportunity to send my condolences to the family of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and his family for the unexpected news of the demise of both his parents – His Royal Majesty – Sir Eze Israel Okwu Kanu – whose death was announced on December 6, 2019 and his wife – Queen Mrs. Ugoeze Sally kanu who passed on to be with the LORD on August 30, 2019.
My eyes are full of tears and blinded by the symbols of sorrow, grief and agony. My jaded heart is sore with grief and my face filled with misery, loneliness, uncertainty in this period with the strangeness of life and death that takes away our heroes and gives no explanation.
Oscar Wilde said, “Life is terribly deficient in form. Its catastrophes happen in the wrong way and to the wrong people.”
Death sometimes happen to the wrong people. All the evil politicians, wicked rulers, fake pastors and coward people that suppose to be dying and perish are still living, destroying families, communities, massacring our youths, raping our mother and sisters, and subjecting us to bondage and slavery.
As I ponder over the passing into glory of Eze Israel Okwu Kanu and his lovely wife, Queen Mrs. Ugoeze Nnenne Sally kanu, no matrix of words can be written to express and pay honor to a dynamic and exemplary couple whose simple yet profound life inspires millions of Biafrans around the world.
The late Eze Israel Okwu Kanu was an embodiment of honesty and integrity, an intelligent and confident man whose courage, strength, wisdom and godly fear I cherish very much.
Queen Ugoeze was kind, patient, courageous, serving, humbly, beautiful and loving mother. She gave all her attention and devotion to care for her family. She raised her children with care, courage and compassion. She was faithful and loved her husband unconditionally.
She was a caring, warm and loving person. She was full of life and energy. She had such an unusual capacity for friendship and ability to love people. She was unassuming, unselfish and had a genuine interest in other people.
Both of them sacrificed their lives and family to serve Biafrans in order to free our people and land from injustice, marginalization, bondage, oppression, captivity, slavery and islamization. We must not forget the ideals of freedom, courage and hope that they embodied and lived out.
There is no doubt that their demise was as a result of the barbaric invasion of their royal palace residence by the jihadist military during Python Dance II in Umuahia in September 14, 2017. The grief and sorrow suffered by his parents contributed immensely to their untimely death. The heart break they suffered contributed to their illness and ultimately death.
I want to encourage the family and all Indigenous People of Biafra to grieve with hope. Despair not; because we know that Sir Eze I.O. and Queen Ugoeze Sally Kanu have departed to with the Lord. Their death has simply ushered them into the very presence of God. They have entered into an everlasting glory where there is no longer pain, disease, sickness, and death, no oppressions, marginalization, bondage, slavery, Fulanization and islamization. They are free from the wickedness of evil people.
You have officially joined the Indigenous People of Biafra after meeting with Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in Atlanta USA on May 2019. How is the restoration effort going?
It was an honor of my life to finally meet Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in Atlanta Georgia at the historic Martin Luther King Jr. center on May 29, 2019. And then, met him again at the Town Hall Meeting on May 30, where I was privileged to ask him a question. Despite all the questions I had in my mind that day, the Holy Spirit prompted to ask about him how his parents were doing. I never knew that few months later, we will be reading and hearing about their demise. May God of heaven dry our tears and fill us Biafrans with hope knowing that our beloved Mama Biafra and Papa Biafra have entered into everlasting glory, where there are no more death or mourning or crying or pain or sickness or sorrow (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; John 11:25-26; Revelation 21:1-7), but peace and joy.
I can probably give you 100 reasons or more why I joined IPOB – an authentic mouthpiece for Biafran people. Before then, I carefully followed the movement and leadership for few years. I wrote several articles and essays about IPOB and quest for Biafra restoration. I am a Biafran from Ndoki land and have written abundantly about the biblical and Jewish heritage of my people. Moreover, I am a theologian, a careful student of the Word of God. Anyone who does not know his identity and appreciate his or her culture is living a meaningless and worthless life. Our identity, culture and language are fundamental to who and whose you are. Without these basic identification of being, you are lost. I am a Biafran.
The Biafran people are descendant of the Jewish race and it is so sad that ‘umu’ Chukwu Okike Abiama are living in bondage in Nigeria due to poor, unwise and cowardly leadership of our so-called founding fathers and selfish Igbo politicians.
Just like biblical times, God of heaven has sent us a great man in the name of Nnamdi Kanu to deliver us Biafran people from bondage, captivity, slavery, and coming fulanization and islamization of our people and land. Our people must understand this fact. This is not mere words. If we don’t wake up from our slumber and help this brilliant, eloquent and charismatic leader to free our people and land, we all will live in perpetual bondage in one-Nigeria.
One-Nigeria does not exist, has never existed and will never exist. In fact One-Nigeria is hell, destruction and death for us Biafrans and many other ethnicities trapped in the contraption and cage called Nigeria.
The continued arrest, torture and massacre of unarmed Biafran youths in Biafra region has not stopped. Just imagine the number of road blocks – Police road blocks, Army checkpoints, harassment and torture of Biafran people in Eastern region. Tell where else do you see such road blocks and checkpoints. Even the violent stricken North where Boko haram, Fulani herdsmen and bandits are racking havoc, you do not see any single Police or Army checkpoint.
The road blocks and checkpoints in Eastern region are evidence that our land is a conquered territory and we are enslaved people. The empires of Babylon, Assyria, and Rome did same thing to their conquests and conquered territories. This is what Biafrans and Eastern region are suffering today in 21st century and yet some Biafran people do not see these atrocities and slavish treatments of their people and land. What a selfish, blind, envious and coward Igbo efulefus and saboteurs.
Additionally, there is no sign of federal presence in Eastern region – a region that has one of the most traveled peoples on the planet for business, schooling and leisure. Apart from abundant of oil and gas in Biafra land, the region is surrounded by water and big oceans yet there is no operational seaport. The existing ones at Port Harcourt, Calabar, and Warri are shut down. There are no single operational international airport in Eastern Region yet, this a region that has the highest traveled peoples in Africa and the world. Shame on Nigerian government and Biafran politicians for accepting to be slaves in Nigeria because of selfishness, stupidity and serving their Fulani masters. Shame! Shame and Shame! Your and your children will suffer the consequences of your selfish and coward actions.
Recently, the police also invaded the village home chief legal counsel of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu – Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor, where they massacred people, shot his mother and burned down his home and and other family houses in his estate. This is a lawyer, a renowned one for that matter. What can any lawyer do that will warrant such senseless and barbaric treatment. In addition, they are calling for his arrest and perhaps to assassinate him simply because he has completely defeated the federal government over their fathom case against Mazi Nnandi Kanu and Biafra restoration. So, they want to assassinate him.
And surprisingly, none of these so-called lawyers, barristers, judges, etc. – the judiciary have come out to condemn what happened at Ejiofor’s home. If any lawyer committed a crime, is this how you treat him or her by burning down his home and killing people in in his village home. Nigeria is a lawless and a serious crime against humanity. It must be dissolved for hundreds of tribes trapped in this evil enclave to be freed.
Just last week, there was also an attack at the village home of the former president Goodluck Jonathan in Otueke in Bayelsa state by Fulani herdsmen. People were killed and injured. This is the home of a former president of Nigeria. What a country and people. The burning and killing at Barrister Ejiofor’s home and ex-president Goodluck Jonathan should be a wake-up call for everyone that Nigeria is now rotten and deserved to be dissolved urgently to avert continued destruction of destiny and waste of lives.
This is why we all must support the effort of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB worldwide. I have written severally that Nnamdi Kanu is our Joshua and Uche Mefor is our Caleb. Our Moses was the late Dim Odemegwu Ojukwu. He would have gotten Biafra for us 50 years ago but because of Saboteurs including the so-called Zik of Africa, who went around betraying him and calling him a rebel before the international community. I will address his stupidity and cowardice later in this interview.
Nnamdi Kanu is a great person, humble, patient, strong, prayerful, and charismatic. In fact, he is a leader and will surely lead us into the holy nation of Biafra. I thank God each day for the leaders of the Indigenous People of Biafra – Mazi Nnamdi kanu, and his deputy – Mazi Uche Mefor and entire IPOB leadership worldwide for answering the divine call to free Biafran people from the worst bondage and slavery in human history! This is an oppression and bondage that Ndigbo and entire Biafran people were subjected to by a selfish, greedy, envious, cowardly and dishonorable Igbo politicians, traditional rulers and religious bigots ever to exist on planet earth.
I am doing the little I can to contribute to that divine mandate and project. And with God’s strength and support, we will overcome and be free.
Freedom is one of the fundamental teachings of the Bible. In fact, the entire Bible and what Jesus came to do on was to free people from their captive. Jesus himself state clearly his mission statement in Luke 4:18, “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, I have to come to set the captives free.”
The Apostle Paul writes in Galatians 5:1, “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by the yoke of slavery.”
Samuel Bowles, Professor Emeritus at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst said “the cause of freedom is the cause of God.”
Freedom is the essence of life. Without freedom, living is meaningless and worthless. Without freedom, we are worthless and our life is meaningless in one-Nigeria.
We continue to hear and read from many ex-generals as well as ordinary Nigerians that the occupant in Aso Rock is not Muhammadu Buhari but his imposter – Jubril Aminu Al-Sudani from Sudan? What’s your take on this serious political and leadership fraud that can violently destroy Nigeria?
The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra – Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was the first person to reveal the identity of the man in Aso Rock on September 6, 2017. Weeks later, Aso Rock sent the military in an operation called Operation Python Dance 2 with the full support of the coward and selfish Igbo governors and coward Ohaneze group to assassinate him at his Afaraukwu Ubekwu home in Umuhia. Biafra Security Services managed to secure his safety and in process 28 young Biafran men were massacred in his compound that very day. His father’s royal palace was desecrated and ransacked. Even the family dog – Jack was assassinated. We all followed the events very carefully. Rather than Nigerians to rise up to condemn such barbaric and murderous mayhem, they called Nnamdi Kanu a coward for escaping, others said all sorts of things about him. They said, it was hate speech. Others defended the indefensible. Yet, the ignorant and coward Nigerians, many of whom claim to be Christians do not read how many times, Jesus and many people called by God ran and escaped for their lives in other to complete the assignment that God has given to them to do. Nigerian Christians are the most biblical ignorant on earth.
Today, the ex-general and war criminals are speaking out about the deception and the worst political fraud in Aso Rock but in cowardly manner. They are afraid to tell Nigerians and the world that the young man in Aso Rock is not Buhari – because President Muhammadu Buhari died since January 2017. And that the man in Aso Rock is a young man about 50 years old from Sudan. His name is Mallam Jubril Aminu Al-Sudani. The man in Aso Rock – is not Buhari but Jubril from Sudan aided by a group of wicked Fulani cabals, who are ardent promoter of Sharia and total islamization of Nigeria and ruling Nigeria today with impunity and rascality.
Today, Nigeria – the giant of Africa is ruled by an imposter president. And you tell me that we are well as a people. Something is wrong with our brains as Mazi Nnamdi Kanu used to say. I agree with him. One-Nigeria has destroyed our brains and distorted our character and conscience as people.
Let us talk about Boko haram, Fulani herdsmen, killings of innocent and unarmed Nigerian citizens, farmers, villagers and Christians in Nigeria. Just this past week, the United States of America placed Nigeria on a ‘Special Watch List’ of nations where religious freedom and liberty are under attack. Moreover, thousands of Christians, who are mostly Biafrans are being arrested, tortured and massacred all over Nigeria. What do you think about the United States stepping in to protect Christians in Nigeria?
I want to start by thanking God Almighty for enthroning Donald John Trump as the president of America in 2016. Can you imagine if Mrs. Hilary Clinton had won that presidential election? By now, we would have been completely enslaved and Islamized in Nigeria. President Donald Trump is a God-sent. He may not have the best morals as a man and presidential etiquette but he’s proving to be a strategist and courageous leader.
Well, President Trump told the imposter when he came to the White House in 2017 to do something about the killings of Christians and displacement of local farmers in their communities. He warned Buhari that Christians are being murdered, killed in Nigeria and that the U.S., can’t allow that to happen. That they are watching and will not tolerate any further religious violence, killings and intolerance in Nigeria. But President Trump never knew he was talking to a fraudulent president which he later realized and cautioned the White House never to allow such lifeless president again in the White House.
Despite the warning, the killings continued – by Boko Haram, Islamic State of West Africa, Fulani Herdsmen, Myetti Allah, and Nigeria’s murderous military, which has thousands of Boko haram members currently. The U.S. government has watched Nigerian since then and just last week, placed the shithole country to a “Special Watch List” of countries that have engaged in or tolerated “severe violations of religious freedom” along with Burma, China, Eritrea, Iran, North Korea, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Comoros, Russia, and Uzbekistan, Cuba, Nicaragua, and Sudan under the International Religious Freedom Act of 1998 for having engaged in or tolerated “systematic, ongoing, and egregious violations of religious freedom.”
Since Buhari was imposed on Nigeria in 2015 by ex-president Barack Hussein Obama and former British PM David Cameron, thousands of Christians have been killed and millions displaced from their communities in the several northern and Middle Belt regions. The South – especially Biafran region has been fighting against Fulani enslavement. We have fought against grazing bill – designed to establish cattle grazing all over Nigeria, RUGA – establishment of Fulani villages across Nigeria, Life stock transformation scheme designed to take over your water ways, the 100 billion Naira that was given to Myetti Allah – a terrorist organization without explanation what the money was meant for and now, the closing of borders in the entire South (SW, SE and SS), while the borders are opened and free in the north for Fulani all over Africa to come into Nigeria. And now with the recent speech of Jubril in Cairo, Egypt where he announced that the Fulani are free to come to settle in Nigeria without visa. And recently, we have seen droves of Fulani coming from all part of Africa to saturate our towns and communities.
In his classic book – Slavery, Terrorism and Islam, Dr. Peter Hammond – a South African Missionary writes, “The ultimate goal of Islam is not to conquer the world but to establish Sharia over the entire world.” And the author goes in detail to describe how Sharia and islamization are achieved.
Let talk about Mr. Omoyele Sowore and Sambo Dasuki release immediately after the six U.S Congress and Senators sent the Minister of Justice a letter regarding Sowore saga.
I know Mr. Sowore. We spoke at the African Students at Harvard event in 2013. He was one of the speakers at that event. He invited me to write for his Sahara Reporters. He was gracious to publish many of my articles sent to Sahara Reporters. Also, I have been interviewed I believe twice on Sahara TV by Mr. Rudolph Okonkwo. I admire his passion for one-Nigeria but unfortunately one-Nigeria does not exist, has never existed and will never exist. I pray he focuses his attention on liberating his people and land rather than fighting for one-Nigeria.
The circumstances that led to his release despite two court orders and shame of the DSS men in the court with him and his legal counsel are clear evidence that Nigeria under Jubril Al Sudani and Aso Rock Cabals has degenerated beyond redemption. The Aso Rock cabals and all those defending APC jihad and murderous government have destroyed Nigeria and will pay dearly for their wicked and murderous actions.
It took a letter from six members of the U.S Congress and Senate for Aso Rock to release Omoyele Sowore and Sambo Dasuki from unjust prison detention – and we claim to have judiciary in Nigeria. What about the Nigerian Legislators and Senators. Don’t they see the abuse of power, executive over-reach and unconstitutional actions of Jubril and lawless by Aso Rock Cabals? Why can’t they rise up to stop these evil men from destroying Nigeria? Instead, they sit in hollowed chamber cowardly, stealing the nation dry while the people perish and country disintegrate into pieces. History will not judge well. They are simply rubber stamp legislators and senators. They are a disgrace and disappointment to humanity.
Recently, the Chief Justice of Nigerian (CJN) Tanko Muhammad called for the amendment of the 1999 Constitution to expand Islamic Sharia law practice and accommodate some of the concerns of Muslims in Nigeria. What about the concerns of Christians and other religious and non religious groups within Nigeria. What do you think about such request?
Can you imagine such statement in a country that claims to be practicing constitutional democracy? That request itself is sufficient reason to divide the country.
The constitution is the most important document in any democratic secular government and should form the basis for secular and democratic institutions. The constitution should govern the affairs of the state and its people. It should provide defense, administer justice, and order, in which people could go about their businesses in safety. It should have checks and balances, that provide more realistic safeguards – constraining absolute power of the federal government, security if its citizens and welfare of all citizens. The constitution must set a well-defined set of core values that will shape the lives and especially those who are called to lead. Core values that drive people lives, business decisions or nation’s priorities.
But no, the CJN wants to amend the already faulty 1999 constitution in order to expand Sharia law and practice and accommodate the priorities of Muslims in Nigeria. This is a constitution that was imposed on the people by a Fulani and former Head of State, General Abdulsalami Abubakar.
The constitution ought to be a document that should have been written by constitutional lawyers, judges, liberal scholars, thinkers, leaders of thought, historians, traditional and religious leaders, ex-presidents, governors, senators, diplomats and frankly fewer politicians and legislators.
One of the absurdities of Nigeria is that Nigerians claim to be practicing democracy with a constitution and civil laws, but Islam does not believe in democracy but Sharia and Koran. They want theocracy and Sharia law not democracy and constitution. The Fulani Jihadists, the Sokoto Caliphate, the Kaduna Mafia and the Northern cabals do not believe that Nigeria is a secular state, but an Islamic state. Nigeria is not a secular democratic State but an Islamic country. The earlier we understand that and peacefully divide the country the better for everyone so that people can accommodate their common interests politically, religiously, socially and otherwise.
Islam does not recognize or operate in democracy because there is no freedom of speech, ideas, opinion, etc. In Islam, it is against the law to question Koran and Sharia much less criticize it. You simply follow the rules. Islam is a political ideology and their justice system is Sharia. It is a totalitarian ideology and you cannot question or criticize it.
For several months this year, the anchors of Radio Biafra London were playing the speech made by the Premier of the Northern region, Alhaji Ahmadu Bello on October 12, 1960 from Mecca Saudi Arabia, eleven days after the independence of Nigeria from Britain, in which he said:
“The new nation called Nigeria should be an estate of our great-grandfather, Uthman Dan Fodio. We must ruthlessly prevent a change of power. We use the minorities of the North as willing tools and the South as a conquered territory and never allow them to rule over us, and never allow them to have control over their future.”
Also, about a month ago, the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra – Mazi Nnamdi Kanu not only played part of that speech but also played a video interview in which Nnamdi Azikiwe called Igbo hero – Chukwuemeka Odemegwu Ojukwu a rebel. What is your take on these kinds of statements and speeches?
I have listened to the Ahmadu Bello speech of October 12, 1960 many times on radio Biafra. Bear in mind, that speech was made from Mecca Saudi Arabia barely eleven days after the so-called independence of Nigeria on October 1, 1960. I have always wanted to write about it but didn’t until Mazi Nnamdi made a broadcast in which he not only played it but also added the speech of Nnamdi Azikiwe where he called Igbo hero – Dim Chukwuemeka Odemegwu Ojukwu a rebel.
The Ahamdu Bello statement was a very arrogant, obnoxious and distasteful statement. How in the world does anyone make such an abominable and satanic statement, and come back to Nigeria without repercussion. I ask, where were the so-called founding fathers of Nigeria – Nnamdi Azikiwe, Obafemi Awolowo, Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, etc. Why did they allow such arrogant and inflammatory statement to go unpunished? Nigeria should have been divided immediately on October 12, 1960 and save us the sad and horrible history we have suffered since then.
Is Ahmadu Bello God. Even God – the Creator and Sustainer of Life will not even say such loathsome statement to His creatures talk less a mere mortal.
By the way, how does Nigeria – an amalgamation of nearly 400 variant ethnic groups become an estate of their great-grandfather, Uthman Dan Fodio – a Fulani who was not an indigene of the north? The Fulani were not originally inhabitants of the North but strangers who came from Futa Toro and Futa Jalon in Guainea and later settled in a tiny area of the north and from there multiplied.
Uthman dan Fodio settled in Sokoto from where he assembled a Fulani army to lead jihad against the Hausa kingdoms of the north of Nigeria. The forces of Usman dan Fodio slowly took over the Hausa kingdoms, capturing Gobir in 1808 and executing Yunfa. The war resulted in the creation of the Sokoto Caliphate, headed by Usman dan Fodio, which became one of the largest states in Africa in the 19th century. His success inspired similar jihads in Western Africa (Wikipedia).
The north has been making these kinds of hateful, inflammatory and satanic statements. And even today, the loatheful speeches and statements of northern caliphate against the people of Biafra and Igbos in particular can fill a book. And so, the Ahmadu Bello speech of October 12, 1960 and the systemic and satanic policies that the Fulani jihadists pursued in Nigeria since then have led to the hellfire that Nigeria has become and will ultimately lead to its downfall and demise.
The speech of Nnamdi Azikiwe before the British journalist was not only cowardly but stupid and foolish. We all grew shouting Zik of Africa. I never knew he was a useless and worthless Igbo man. The statement of Nnamdi Azikiwe against a courageous man who stood up to defend his people who were being massacred and still massacred in one-Nigeria is not only shameful, regrettable but idiotic and senseless. He and other so-called founding fathers deserve hell for the misery and death we Biafrans have endured in the evil enclave that British created called Nigeria.
What is your general assessment of Nigeria today especially with regard to its citizens, politics, religion and rampant violence and killings all over the country.
Nigeria is a multi-ethnic, multi-religious, multi-linguistic, etc. society. One of the fundamental flaws of Nigeria is the framers of this humongous country did not establish a common value system that addressed national unity, patriotism and parameters to discourage ethnicity, tribalism and religious intolerance among the peoples of a diverse and complex nation like Nigeria. A common value system designed to define, determine and shape daily actions of citizens and non-citizens alike. No nation can survive without a strong common national value system. There has to be patriotic laws, embraced decisions and passionate actions that determine and drive the nation’s priorities. Nigeria does not have any value system and no nation can survive and succeed without those common core value system.
And so, imagine your CJN requesting the law makers to amend the Constitution in order to expand Sharia law in Nigeria and Muslim interests to be accommodated in a pluralist and constitutional secular democratic society. What about other cultures and religions? You cannot have several conflicting value systems cohabiting peacefully in one country. It is not found anywhere on earth and will never be practicable any where on this planet earth.
For instance, the framers of the American constitution were not politicians, and weren’t dealing with theoretical issues but real nation’s problems and value systems. They had serious problems on their hands. The 1776 American political culture resembles the Nigeria political situation today. Theirs was thirteen separate, independent, and headstrong colonies, which could not be dragged into union against their will, but had to be persuaded. And there was no way this could be accomplished unless the system is formed to look into their powers, interests, and ambitions of each colonies. The representatives from each thirteen colonies proceeded to do exactly that.
In the case of Nigeria, the framers did not establish a well-defined set of core values that addressed national unity, patriotism and parameters to discourage ethnicity, tribalism and religious intolerance among the peoples of a diverse and complex nation like Nigeria. Nigeria cannot move forward as a nation and fulfill its common purpose and destiny if ethnicity, tribalism and injustice are not addressed. The country needed a national identity that harbors ethnicity and discourages tribal identity. What the country needed – although it is late now, was a truly constitutional amendment that fixes the perilous political culture, build strong institutions and eradicate the thuggery, authoritarians, dictatorships, fascists, anarchists godfatherism, greedy, corruption, marginalization, and injustices so prevalent in the society today. But that cannot happen in a country where the CJN, a Fulani and Islamic judge wants sharia law practice to be expanded to accommodate Muslims in Nigeria.
Instead of the constitution amendment to be expanded to impose restraints on power of the federal government, diffusing authority instead of having it focused in the central or national government, enforcing the rule of law and creating a healthy relationship and balance of power between the federal, state and local government.
But no, the CJN is seeking to expand Sharia law and accommodate the interests of Muslims in a country of nearly 200 million people with over 250 ethnicities and many religious faiths. And you tell me such a country has future and hope for its multi-ethnic nationalities.
Another fundamental flaw of Nigeria is Religion. I believe that religion not bad leadership or ethnicity is the root cause of the chaos and hellfire that Nigeria has become. Religious ignorance and violence have under-developed and destroyed Nigeria and most of Sub-Sahara Africa more than any other factor.
Religious ignorance and intolerance breed violence. Religious ignorance and conflict are the major threat to the prosperity, security, and unity of any country. In the continent of Africa, religious violence and ethnic cleansing are enormous. Religious violence has decimated more lives in Africa in the last 100 years than poverty, hunger, disease, accidents and even wars combined together. Africa and Middle East have been properly called a “Bloody Continent.” They are a battleground between Islam, Christianity and traditional religions. Muslims kill Christians in Nigeria, Sudan, Somalia, Senegal, Rwanda, Burundi and other places in Africa and the world.
But the question is why there are such hostility today. Why are there deep-seated rivalries, animosity and hatred between Muslims and Christians? There are biblical, historical, theological and religious reasons for this hostility.
The sixth pillar of Islam faith gives the reason for this ferocious orgy to kill Christians.
In Islam faith, there are 6 pillars of namely:
1. Shahadah – the creed of witness
2. Salat – the creed of rigid and ritual prayer life
3. Zakat –the creed of almsgiving
4. Saum – the creed of fasting
5. Hajj – pilgrimage to Mecca, and
6. Jihad – Holy War to kill infidels
Jihad or Holy War is the sixth and most important religious duty for any serious Muslim. The Kharjites, a powerful sect of Islam raised Jihad to a sixth pillar of Islam in the early days of Islam. Muhammad himself declared it is the duty of every Muslim to subjugate the whole world to Allah, if need be by holy war. When the situation warrants, men are required to go to war in order to spread Islam or defend it against infidels. One who dies in a Jihad is guaranteed eternal life in Paradise. All male, free and adult Muslims must become involved in Jihad if they want to go to heaven. Jihad is a holy war against those who are non-Muslims, those who do not believe that Allah is the only God and who do not believe that Mohammad is a true prophet of God. Jihad is regarded as a divine institution, and it is used to advance Islam and repel evil from Muslims. Muslims who die fighting in a holy war are assured of a place in paradise and special privileges there.
The Islamic faith is deeply rooted in violence and Jihad in the name of Allah. The call for Jihad has always been used to conquer people, land, territories and nations. The radical Muslims who perpetrate terror, behead, kill, participate in suicide bombing, or kidnappings etc. always justify their actions from Koran, the holy book of Islam.
Dr. Anis A. Shorrosh, a Palestine Arab Christian scholar and eminent professor Emeritus of world religions, in his masterpiece book, “Islam Revealed” brilliantly and eloquently explained the driving force behind the root causes of Islamic fundamentalism and fanaticism. He argued that one couldn’t understand the tensions, attacks, and violence and continuing explosion of Islamic fundamentalism until one understands the contradictions and intricacies that form the basis for Muslims’ beliefs.
In fact the Koran itself gives many passages that advocate, promote and justify violence and killing of infidels – anyone who is non-Muslim, who does not believe that Allah is one true god and who does not recognize Mohammad as prophet. Examples of such are found all over Koran. In Koran, 9:5 teaches, “Kill those who join other gods with Allah wherever you shall find them; seize them, besiege them, and lay wait for them with every kind of ambush: but if they shall convert, and observe prayer, and pay the obligatory alms, then let them go their way.” Other passages that call for killing infidels are: 2:92; 2:245; 2:276; 3:27; 4:102; 4:143; 5:56; 8:40; 9:29; 9:74; 9:111; 9:123; 22:39.
The Koran also teaches, “And if you shall be slain or die on the path of Allah, then pardon from Allah and mercy is better than all your amassing; for if you die or be slain, verily unto Allah shall you be gathered. “And they also who have fled their country and quitted their homes and suffered in my cause, and have fought and fallen, I will blot out their sins from them, and I will bring them into garden beneath which the streams do flow ((3:151-52; 3:194). Koran further states, “Fight the infidel and you will go to heaven. Turn way, and you will go to hell. In all of Islamic theology, this is the only way a person can know for sure that heaven is his destiny: wage a holy war and give up your own life.”(8:12-18)
I have read and heard some modern, moderate and conservative Muslims teach that Islam is a peaceful religion and that Koran is opposed to violence. I know there are many sects much like Christianity, but Christians are not going around, at least not today killing other people who disagree with them. It is true that students of history especially biblical historians cannot forget the Crusades – Roman Catholicism bloody warfare against Islam or Islam against Hinduism, the Catholics against Protestant, Lutherans, the Irish Catholics, or even the Holocaust, etc., which were all religious and political motivated warfare. The truth of the matter is that human history has been dominated with wars – religious, political, economic, social, ideology, race, classicism, sexism, etc. All kinds of warfare have been waged throughout human history. But none of these had been divisive and destructive than religious wars. Fortunately, today, humanity has made progress and such wars have been minimized and replaced with tolerance, freedom, peace, progress, scientific and technological advancement, etc. except only Islam that continues to wage blatant warfare against Christianity.
Religious conflict is a huge leadership challenge and a major threat to the security, unity and national progress of Nigeria. Religious ignorance and intolerance breed violence. Religious violence and war have decimated more lives in Nigeria in the last 60 years than hunger, disease, and accidents combined together. Northern Nigeria especially has been a battleground between Islam and Christianity. Since 1945, Nigeria has had some many incidents of religious extremism and Islamic fundamentalism in its attempt to Islamize the nation.
Christianity and the Church are not exonerated from this violence as well. Dr. Hank Hanegraaf, president of Christian Research Institute in California, and one of the finest and courageous Christian apologists of our time, in his book, “Christianity in Crisis” prophetically and passionately argued that modern-day Christianity is in crisis. He said that the Church is undergoing a major transformation and that millions of Christians have embraced another gospel, another Jesus, a gospel of false promises of prosperity, wealth, healing, signs and wonders. He attributes the problem to lack of sound biblical training and Seminary education. George Barna, the famous Church consultant, researcher and writer, also supports Dr. Hanegraaf postulations that the Church is dying due to lack of sound Bible teachers and strong Church leadership.
In his best-selling book, “Crisis in the Village,” Dr. Robert M. Franklin, former president of Morehouse College, a theologian and public intellectual, writes “The Church has lost her moral mission, call and commitment.”
What we have today is “Modern-day designer Church,” a Church that is totally misconstrued, misguided and misinformed; where spiritual witchcraft and biblical ignorance are in abundance. What we have today is a Church that is bewitched, a Church that is preaching and teaching another gospel; another Jesus and a message of “get rich and get healed theology,” a perverted Church were the so-called men of God are preaching eisegesis rather than proper exegesis , what tickles the ears of their parishioners rather than sound doctrine, a church where ill-trained pastors and bishops are using pragmatic psychological philosophies for attaining success and for solving spiritual issues rather than sound exposition of God’s Word, a church where con men are using the Word of God and gullible Christians for lucre and for profit.
What we have today as prosperity message is a muddled and schismatic gospel, Satan’s gospel, a 419 scheme, a toxic and deadly scam designed for the sick, poor, lazy, gullible and biblical illiterate.
The Nigerian Church has never contributed anything to the development and progress of the country, rather the church is morally bankrupt, biblical ignorant, practicing a modern day voodoo and satanic spiritual spiritualism. In a nutshell, what we have today in Nigeria is 419 Church. What we have today is materialistic Christianity and there is enormous danger in it. The danger of prosperity and materialistic false message by fake and false prophets are immense and it is destroying Nigerian Christian community and most of Africa.
I know you do not want to talk about American political matters – especially regarding the Robert Mueller investigation report and impeachment of President Donald Trump. Any concluding thoughts.
Well, you are right. I want to stay away from the political wrangling that has characterized 2019 in this great United States of America. Yes, the Mueller Report and Trump impeachment are the top political events of 2019. The House of Representatives voted to impeach President Trump. Officially, the President has been accused for abuse of power and obstruction of Congress, which the late Muhammadu Buhri and his current imposter committed over and over again in Nigeria without any rebuke or call for impeachment.
Now, President Trump will be tried in the Senate where his party is in the majority and in charge. They will certainly exonerate him. And Trump will likely win and serve his second term as president.
The U.S is not a lawless and corrupt nation like Nigeria. The Legislators have to do their constitutional duty unlike in Nigeria were the legislators are cowards and rubber-stamp of the president.
What we have today is a nation of imposter president, lying and shameless Aso Rocks aids, corrupt and coward senators and legislators, slavish governors, false prophets, dishonorable royal fathers and traditional rulers and a coward citizenry. The country has degenerated beyond redemption. I’m not sure anyone can redeem Nigeria anymore. God has abandoned Nigeria. And we are living in hell already – thanks to corrupt politicians and coward citizenry.
But thanks be to Chukwu Okike Aboama who has given us Nnamdi Kanu – a messenger, a deliver and prophetic leader to deliver God’s people from nearly 100 years of bondage and slavery. He a humble and patient man. It is easy thing to lead Igbo people. Igbos are like the children of Israel and even more stubborn to lead. I have led Igbo churches, Igbo organizations and I can tell you that it is a very difficult thing to lead Igbo people. I pray for Mazi Nnamdi Kanu every day that he does not give up because of Igbo saboteurs, efulefus, selfish and ignorant ones Moreover, he has sacrificed all – losing both of his parents, cousins and friends in Biafra struggle. He has been humiliated, gossiped and accused of all sorts of things. He has nothing else to loose than his very life. He has lost it all. Achieving Biafra will some how compensate for losses and suffering and will bless his generation for eternity.
Next year will be 50 years after civil war. 2020 is Biafra year – a year of Jubilee and freedom from bondage, captivity, slavery and islamization. I look forward to the one-million march in Washington DC in June 2020. Our freedom and restoration of the holy nation – the Sovereign State of Biafra is imminent.
I applaud the global diplomatic mission of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB leadership worldwide. We must intensify the effort. Biafra is a just cause. 2020 must be our divine date with God and global community. We have sacrificed and suffered enough in one-Nigeria it is time to be free from Fulani Caliphate and Yoruba Oligarchy. We are not the same people, we don’t eat the same food, we don’t speak in similar manner, we don’t dress alike, we don’t worship the same God – there’s nothing absolute binding Biafra, Oduduwa and Arewa peoples together. The global community must do the needful to free these three major indigenous peoples caged together in Nigeria – else, they must open their borders to embrace millions and be culpable for the millions that will be massacred in the inevitable war for freedom. The colonization of Africa by the British, French, Portuguese and Arabs remains the greatest atrocity in human history. The mental slavery and psychological damage are irreparable. It is time for the global powers to undo this damage by freeing Biafra nation.
